Course description
This short course is a conversion course for programmers who know some other programming language and wish to learn the basics of Java. Although it is aimed at members of the bioinformatics community, this is open to all, although numbers will be strictly limited. The course will introduce the essential syntax and semantics of the Java lanaguage -- it will not cover principles of programming or algorithmics.
